About The Gloss Business Edit
How we got started
Entrepreneurship can be exhilarating—and isolating. When you don’t have a team, every decision, doubt, and deadline lives on your shoulders. The Business Edit is the antidote: a book-driven business circle where you don’t have to build alone. We read together, think together, and turn ideas into action together.
The Gloss Business Edit is where ideas grow, confidence builds, and business becomes personal.
Help builders turn smart ideas into real momentum through shared reading, guided discussion, and community that provides accountability, introductions, and encouragement.
Community First
Online and in person book clubs to connect entrepreneurs who are often doing it alone.
Guided Questions
Real talk that turns reading into action.
Access that matters
Learn directly from authors and real world builders, not just blurbs.
Support on tap
A trusted space for accountability, momentum, and “you’ve got this.”
Our Founder
In 2008, I started building—solo. Since then, I’ve launched three companies. I’ve sat through more talks than I can count, joined masterminds, and flown to business retreats. I learned a lot from those rooms, but I learned the most from my own missteps. The Gloss Business Edit is everything I wished I had on the loneliest days: practical ideas, honest conversations, and a community that shows up.
— Erin Woodward, Founder
The Gloss Story so far
What began as a small book club in a London England has grown into a global community of women who read, connect, and inspire one another. Over the years, The Gloss Book Club has hosted thousands of discussions across cities worldwide — and now, with The Business Edit, we’re bringing that same spirit of connection to women building businesses, side hustles, and careers they love. It’s still about great books — but even more about what happens when women come together to make ideas real.
